Cooking last week

Ahhh, a week has gone by. I tried cooking 3 new things.

This was the chicken crusted with cornflakes. It was really good. And the mashed potatoes were fake but have you ever put ricotta cheese in mashed potatoes? mmmmm it was goooood.

This was slow cooker tomato and basil soup. Now Joshua doesn't usually eat anything. But he ate the whole bowl full of soup. mmmmm this one was sooo good too.

These are my kids. Such a great picture I had to post it. Actually on Sunday, I tried to cool a leg of lamb. That was really good too. The sauce I made was amazing. Raspberries go really good with lamb.
And this is Amber's first time wearing red. She looked soo cute. She is such a happy baby. I am so thankful she came to our family. She's added so much joy to the house and everyone.

My husband is an Author

Some summer ago, my husband got a book idea. So he wrote and wrote and wrote. He says I bugged him because sometimes I wanted him to spend time with me instead of the book. Duh, we are married you know. Well by the end of the summer he finished the book. We went through outskirts press to publish the book.
Thank you to Rob Clark for making it possible.

 He Got the package

He was so excited to open them.

                                                All ten of them.

The book is called Blog of a Bully. He also has a website, where he reviews books, and I think he is going to start a website with his sister, reviewing movies. When it comes to movies he is way too critical for me. Within the first 5 minutes of a movie, he'll lean over and say, I found a mistake. Grrr. Just let me watch the movie in peace. Oh well. The book review website is www.freebookreview.org. Anyways, when his 10 complimentary books came in the mail, he was sooo excited. The only thing we need to work on is publicity. preferably free publicity. Sigh, I wish we were rich.

This summer he wrote 3 more books. I was nicer this time. ;-)

The bug is at our house

Well, everyone is sick at our house, except me and amber. Thank goodness. Nothing really to say, so here is a pic I took of the boys.     What can I say.

They like their electronics.

My First Goal (Race)

Well, I have researched and on October 13th is Octoberfest in Tempe. They will have a 5km race which is like 3.1 miles. That is my goal. I will run and walk. But I will finish. Stephen said he'd run with me. So October 13th, my first race.

On another note, I snapped 2 pictures yesterday. What can I say when Baby sleeps, so does Dad. I on the other hand was going crazy. I was the only one awake.

And I had to take pics of this little lady in her cute outfit and bow. I love the bow. Only thing, I couldn't get her to look at the camera. Isn't she soooo cute? I love her.

Wedding

My husband and I were married on May 13, 2005. It was Friday the 13th. Ya, we are not superstitious. It was a great day. We had a reception that night, the next day we had a reception that we were 4 hours late to in Woodruff. Took the B Line Highway for the first time. And it had construction. Almost all my family were able to come. My sister however was not, she had kids who were sick and had broken arms, and who knows what else. We spent our honeymoon in California. Did the wax museum, Mideavel Times, with great pepsi and fried chicken. The beach which was freezing. A week later we had a reception in Utah. That was the last time I saw my Aunt, in person anyways. She gave us Sargeant Peppers Cd and reeces peanut butter cups for a gift.... WHAT? It was on our registry. ;-)

Anyways, after that we settled in and a week into working at Harkins, Stephen quit. Then he worked at Fry's and after about 2 months they fired him because they made him work in the rain and he called in sick the next day. So then I worked at Metro Care for about a year. While I was working there I was expecting our first baby boy.

It's been a very fun adventure. I like my steaks Medium Rare. Before I met Stephen I had no idea what a steak was. Sad I know. And now I know more than I wanted to know about the Beatles. My husband and I are still debating on weather or not Paul McCartney is dead.

Introduction

Hello Out There. I am Stacey Zanzucchi. My husband is Stephen Zanzucchi. Together we have 4 kids. Patrick 6 years old. Eric 5 years old. Joshua 3 years old. And Amber a week shy of 3 months old. We have a pretty crazy life. Fun too. Life without fun is BORING!

I have some things that I am interested in. Cooking is a BIG one. Although I feel like I have to be alone in the kitchen when trying something, and with 4 kids it just doesn't work. I am also interested in running. I have asthma but that will not stop me. I will eventually get in shape and be able to run, maybe a race.

Last but not least, I have cracked! Dave Ramsey said on the radio the other day that there comes a point where you will just crack, and decide that you never want to sign your name over for money. Well yes, I have come to that point. I am sick of debt, so I am looking to get a job. I WILL Get a Job. I can't wait for the day that I can even write on this blog, "I AM DEBT FREE!" First things first. Getting substitute certified.
